During my time at the Philharmonic, eleven concerts sold-out the Koger Center for the Arts (a 2,100 seat venue), and set a new record for the 42-year-old non-profit.

In addition, in September 2005, I was listed as one of Columbia’s cultural pioneers by the Free Times, “Turbeville has championed the introduction of Philharmonic programs geared toward a younger audience, such as last season's Philharmonic Rocks series, which paired the symphony with contemporary bands Seven Nations (Celtic rock), and at Turbeville's prompting, the Beatles tribute band The Return.”
